Through East Africa in search of Lifers
Real “twitchers” (committed bird-watchers), like Craig & Karin Nelson, will do whatever it takes, and go wherever necessary to find the most elusive of bird species – even if it means spending 100 days and traversing nearly 2 000 km through East Africa to do it. Visiting the famous East African game parks in Tanzania and Kenya, sighting a shoebill and tracking gorillas in Uganda. These were all items that needed to be ticked off the bucket lists of the couple. Read their story in ISSUE 9 of Land Rover AFRICA Magazine – out mid-September 2014.
