The Land Rover Owners Club of Namibia is inviting Land Rover enthusiasts from all over the world to join the Namibian Land Rover Festival in Uis, Namibia from 26-28 August 2016.



Land Rover Owners Club of Namibia formed during early 2015, and is a family of likeminded people that enjoy nature, support conservation efforts and love the Land Rover product.They are affiliated to the world body association for Land Rover Owner Clubs International.

Their aim of the Namibia Land Rover Festival is to see how many Land Rover cars and products can congregate over the intended period. Not only will visitors get to enjoy the outdoors and explore the wonderful terrain and landscapes that Uis in Namibia has to offer, but also get to bring tribute and display the iconic Defender in all its form and glory.


All Land Rover models welcome!

Land Rover vehicles of all ages, types and models are welcome! The club vehicle categories based on suspension are as follows:

LEAFERS: Series I, II, IIA and Series III,  Forward Controls IIA & IIB  (Stage 1 V8)

COILERS: All Defenders (90, 110 & 130) Range Rovers (1970-2001), Discovery (1989-2004).

INDEPENDENT: Discovery (2005-2014), Discovery Sport, Freelanders, Range Rovers (2002-2014), Range Rover Evoque.



The main meeting and gathering place will be at the Brandberg Rest Camp in Uis. Uis is a settlement located in Erongo Region, Namibia (in the former Damaraland). However all visitors are requested to make use of all the other B&B’s and camping spots in/around Uis as well. In terms of accommodation, bookings are essential.

(Brandberg White Lady Lodge is situated on the northern side of the Brandberg Mountain. From the C35, Uis-to-Korixas section, take the D2359 towards the “White Lady” and follow the signboards “Brandberg White Lady Lodge” for 27km.)


On Friday and Saturday (26 – 27 August 2016), an exclusive range of stalls selling camping and Land Rover accessories and products will be made available at the venue.


We have different levels of sponsorship proposals, and if you would like to get exposure for your business, this is the one golden opportunity!

For the necessities, Uis has a small supermarket, and a petrol station, together with a few other smaller shops. However, food and drinks will be plenty at the Event!!

There is no Financial Institution (Bank) at Uis, only ATM,  (Card facilities are available for paying accommodation).

Landy Festival Namibia is to be given as reference upon bookings in order to receive discounted rates.

Land Rover Owners Namibia Indemnity Form to be filled out before participating in any of the driving events (Ask for Event Secretary @ venue)

Have your vehicle serviced and checked before the trip, remember a spare tyre!

Make sure you refuel at the last town before driving to Uis, there is only one Service Station at Uis.
