In a spectacular unveiling, Land Rover’s Heritage Lifestyle Collection 2017 was paraded on the catwalk in November. The collection includes quality jackets, caps, hats, polo crew shirts, hoodies, luggage, watches, model cars and a very adorable range of children’s clothing. In our latest issue, we chat to Land Rover about the range and we look at what’s on offer.

Land Rover’s lifestyle range is made up of three collections. The Heritage Collection is inspired by the iconic 1971-72 Darién Gap Expedition where two crews, driving Range Rovers, drove nearly 30 000 km from Alaska to Argentina, conquering an arduous stretch of swamps and rain forests.

The Range Rover Collection features high-quality leather products, featuring rich contrasting colours, including iPad covers and iPhone cases that carries the Range Rover name for the first time. With the Land Rover Lifestyle Collection, the use of the Land Rover word-mark on the clothing range has been extended with the addition of the Discovery family’s ‘design line’ in the stitching pattern on certain items.

Land Rover’s HUE166 theme – based on the automaker’s most famous Land Rover Series I – features prominently in the collection. It has allowed Land Rover to establish a core range of products with a more playful edge, including pet products, mugs, kids and adult T-shirts as well as a loveable HUE166 teddy bear.
